Persuasion II - Sorrow

My first attempt at helping someone was to use the analogy of Plato's cave from the Republic. I simply raised the question, what if this position is correct, wouldn't it be worth investigating. The person flatly stated that he desired to remain down here in "Dumbland" as he called it.

I sometimes feel as if I am attempting to evangelize the saved. They hear the message, but refuse to accept it.
